About the Role

Surgical Technologists assist in surgical operations by preparing and managing the surgical environment and providing support to surgeons and nurses.

Prepare the operating room before procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
Assist in preparing patients for surgery, which may include positioning them on the surgical table and applying sterile drapes.
Pass surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations, maintaining a clear and sterile environment.
Monitor the surgical field for contamination, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Clean and maintain surgical instruments post-procedure and manage inventory.
Assist in patient post-operative care and ensure proper transfer to recovery rooms.
Maintain surgical log books and documentation of surgeries performed.
