About the Role

Ship engineers are responsible for the operation and maintenance of a vessel's machinery and systems to ensure safe and efficient maritime journeys.

Inspect and maintain ship machinery and systems including engines, generators, and pumps
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues onboard
Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs as needed
Oversee the operation of various ship systems during voyages
Keep detailed logs of maintenance and operational performance
Work with crew members to ensure safety protocols are met
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and environmental policies
